Areas of fog continue around the state, along with patchy mist and overall damp conditions. Temperatures are slowly trending downward and the wind is kicking up a touch, keeping the fog from getting too thick for the morning rush hour. We will continue to monitor issues across our counties out-the-door, but certainly a better start! Sunrise temperatures should hold in the lower 40s.
This afternoon, cloudy skies, damp conditions and patchy fog will still be observed as temperatures hold steady in the middle to lower 40s and winds slacken up from the southwest at 5-10 mph.
Tonight, additional fog could form back up as light winds return and temperatures near the dewpoint. Something to watch if out late tonight and into early Saturday morning.
The weekend brings another wave of rain/snow mix by Saturday evening into early Sunday morning. For now, it appears most will fall as rain, but a quick burst of snow could bring some grassy accumulations in our eastern counties by Sunday morning. We will continue to monitor but wet not white looks to be the likely solution.
