Flow-Rite, a Byron Center-based manufacturer of injection-molded fluid controls components for boats, RVs, golf carts, hydroponics and industrial applications, has reached a milestone: its 40th anniversary. Dan Campau founded the company in 1981 when it was known as Flow-Rite Controls. Within four years, it developed a global network of distributors for its battery watering system. The ISO 9001:2015-certified company has a long history of continuous process improvement. Having earned its first patent in 1985, it has added hundreds since.
