Remy Lai, author of the 2021 Kids All Iowa Reads title Pie in the Sky, will appear in a free virtual visit webinar open to the public at 2 p.m. May 15. The webinar will be hosted by Iowa Center for the Book and will last about an hour, and the author will discuss the book and answer questions from attendees submitted in the chat window during the webinar.
Want to read the book before the webinar? Stop by the Newton Public Library to check the book out. The title is also available in ebook and audiobook format on Bridges, the library’s Ebook and downloadable audio platform.
All Iowa Reads fosters a sense of unity through reading. Iowans are encouraged to come together in their communities to read and talk about a single book title in the same year.
