Busch Gardens has announced plans to bring back indoor theater shows that include an ice skating production and a new cirque-style acrobatic show.
Beginning Friday, May 28, the Tampa theme park’s award-winning ice-skating production “Turn It Up!” returns. Also coming is a new acrobatic show, “Cirque Electric.”
The park said there will be “significantly limited capacity inside the parks’ expansive theaters to accommodate plenty of space between parties.”
The park’s health and safety measures include enhanced cleaning and sanitization and temperature checks. The park is limiting crowd capacity by recommending advanced purchase of tickets and requires face coverings of all workers and guests.
“Bringing more live entertainment safely back to the park is another huge step in returning to world class entertainment at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay,” said Busch Gardens president Neal Thurman. “Since our reopening in June, our park teams have been incredibly innovative and adaptable with bringing our productions to life in new ways and we’re thrilled to expand our offering to include new programs in addition to fan-favorite shows.”
The Moroccan Palace Theater will once again be home to Busch Gardens’ year-round ice-skating shows that will be put on multiple times per day Thursdays through Mondays.
There will also be multiple shows per day Fridays through Mondays of “Cirque Electric,” an acrobatic stunt show with “displays of balance and strength and a fascinating act on wheels that cannot be missed,” according to a park news release.
The shows are included with admission. Find information and tickets at BuschGardensTampa.com.
