SPOILER: Nurse Beth Porch, 25, is set to wow BGT judges on Saturday with her original self-penned song, written about saving lives – before testing positive for coronavirus
Beth, who sang an original self-penned song when she auditioned in January, is back working at Great Ormond Street hospital after her personal battle against coronavirus.
Her emotional song, titled You Taught Me What Love Is, was inspired by her experiences over five years on the cancer ward at the London hospital and Beth revealed that she found writing the track therapeutic.
She told The Sun: 'Obviously it's very emotionally demanding work. This song was just a way for me to process my feelings at what was a difficult time.'
She described the track as 'a homage to all her patients, their families and what they have to go through.'

Beth recently had to take a few weeks off work when she tested positive for COVID-19 after experiencing mild symptoms.
She said: 'I knew I had it as soon as I started coughing. A hospital tested me because I'm frontline staff... it felt like having the flu so I wasn't too badly off.'
The nurse was able to recover at home and is now back to normal and 'happy to be back at work helping look after everyone.'

Beth told the publication that she finds it harder to impress two-year-olds on her ward than the show boss Simon Cowell.
The down-to-earth singer said: 'Honestly there are some two-year-olds who will cry their eyes out as soon as I start singing. So yeah, it's honestly harder to impress them than Simon!'

Devon-born Beth had to keep her involvement in the show a secret from her young fans — until now.

Beth explained that, due to the coronavirus pandemic, children at the hospital have reduced visits and playrooms have been locked down.
She also noted how being admitted for long periods of time can be 'soul destroying for anybody of any age.'

Beth's Britain's Got Talent will be available to download from the ITV website with all profits going to her chosen causes — NHS Charities Together and Great Ormond Street Hospital children's charity.
Auditioning alongside Beth on Saturday are Shalom Chorale, Wesley Williams, biker Jack Price, magician Aidan Mccann and a host of other hopefuls.
