Frozen star Josh Gad has rounded up The Goonies cast for a reunion while we're all stuck at home during lockdown – and it's all in the name of charity.
A true classic of the adventure genre, The Goonies, which was released 35 years ago in 1985, was directed by Richard Donner and featured a young Sean Astin, Josh Brolin, Corey Feldman and Jeff Cohen, as well as The Matrix's Joe Pantoliano.

Looking to entertain fans around the world as we endure the coronavirus pandemic, Gad remotely sat down with various cast and crew members (including legendary writer Chris Columbus) and premiered the full reunion interview on YouTube today (April 27).
"As many of us watching this wish we could see each other right now, it's my sincerest hope that catching up with some old friends of all us will bring much needed joy for each and everyone of you," Gad explained in the video.
And bring joy it did, as throughout this incredible reunion, behind-the-scenes titbits were shared with the world, while the host also selected memorable scenes for each performer to help recreate on camera.

This serves as the first part of a new web series titled Reunited Apart, which has been created in a bid to raise funds for different charities. The Goonies' episode is raising money for The Center for Disaster Philanthropy.
