It looks like Harley Quinn is coming to Fortnite. The Fortnite Twitter account tweeted a teaser image of Harley’s mallet along with her signature Suicide Squad hairstyle, which all but confirms that a Birds of Prey tie-in event is on the way. On top of the teaser, there have also been Harley Quinn skins datamined from the game’s most recent patch.
While there’s still no concrete confirmation of a Birds of Prey tie-in to Fortnite, this is the second time that the official Twitter account has made a reference to the movie, which is set to come out Feb. 7. Birds of Prey is a loose spinoff of 2017’s Suicide Squad and stars Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn. Near the end of January, the Fortnite account replied to a cast video from Birds of Prey with the phrase “See you soon Harley,” which certainly seemed to suggest a collaboration.
Along with those two tweets, frequent Fortnite dataminer Lucas7yoshi on Twitter tweeted out an image of the upcoming skin and what appears to be an alternate style.
But the account’s most recent tweet along with the leaked skins, seems to be a indication that something is afoot. Of course, we won’t know anything official until it’s actually announced by Epic Games, but with the release of Birds of Prey only a few days away, if there is a tie-in we’re likely to know soon.
