National icon David Attenborough has been confirmed as the nation's new virtual geography teacher, having been roped into the BBC's 'biggest ever education offer', Bitesize Daily.
With schools across the country currently closed due to the coronavirus pandemic, many families have had to bring the learning into the home - no easy feat, I'm sure, especially for parents who haven't even looked at a textbook for decades.
But now, in what might just be the best curveball life has ever thrown at us, Attenborough has stepped up to lend a helping hand by offering up his unrivalled knowledge to teach children all about the oceans.
He'll also explore how we map the world, as well as help us understand why animals look the way they do - which all sound like valid lessons whatever your age, to be honest.
The BBC launched Bitesize Daily earlier today, offering 14 weeks of curriculum based learning for kids across the UK.
And Attenborough's not the only big name stepping in to ensure youngsters are still able to learn during lockdown.
Professor Brian Cox will also be teaching key science topics including the solar system, force and gravity, while Manchester City footballer Sergio Aguero will get the nation's kids counting in Spanish.
Then there's EastEnders actor Danny Dyer - who just so happens to be a direct descendant of King Edward III - who'll be teaching children all about Henry VIII as he brings history to Key Stage 1 pupils.
Other famous names include Doctor Who's Jodie Whittaker, former MP Ed Balls, musicians Liam Payne and Mabel, TV presenter Anita Rani and Strictly Come Dancing star Oti Mabuse.
Alice Webb, Director BBC Children's & Education said "We're proud that the BBC can bring together so many people to offer such a wide-ranging package of support to help children and parents right across the UK at such a challenging time.
"We said the BBC would be there for people through this crisis, and we meant it. It's vital that every child is able to continue learning - and the lessons we're putting on will make sure they have fun at the same time."
BBC Bitesize Daily will deliver a tailored day of learning across BBC iPlayer, Red Button, BBC Bitesize website and app, BBC Four and BBC Sounds, with curriculum relevant offers across the UK.
