Friends is one of the most iconic sitcoms of all time and fans still can't get enough of the Central Perk gang, with new details of the show still being picked up on by viewers now.
The long-awaited big televised reunion between the six main cast members was finally confirmed to be taking place earlier this year, but unfortunately the coronavirus pandemic and subsequent global lockdowns have meant that filming has been delayed indefinitely.
But in better news, US-based fans actually now have a chance to be at that huge reunion!
Lisa Kudrow, who played free-spirited Phoebe Buffay in the sitcom, posted a photo of herself on Instagram holding up a laptop displaying a picture of the main cast on it and telling her followers how they could be in with a chance of being at the reunion.
"Your Friends from FRIENDS want you to know something... We are all in!!" she wrote. "You may have heard about the reunion special we are doing for HBO Max, well... WE ALL want YOU and five of YOUR friends to join the 6 of us on Stage 24.
"Be our personal guests in the audience for the taping where you'll see us all together again for the first time in AGES, as we reminisce about the show and celebrate the fun we had. PLUS sip a cup of coffee with us in Central Perk and get the 'Friends' VIP experience on the Warner Bros Studio Tour."
Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel Green, also posted the retro image of the cast and shared a similar message, adding: "Can't wait to meet and hug you guys when this is all over... Until then, keep Facetiming, calling, DMing, and texting your friends and family. We gotta stay connected."
Courteney Cox (Monica Geller), Matthew Perry (Chandler Bing), David Schwimmer (Ross Geller) and Matt LeBlanc (Joey Tribbiani) also shared posts about the opportunity.
Unfortunately, it seems that you do need to live in the US to enter but if you're lucky enough to be eligible, you will need to visit AllinChallenge.com and go to the Friends section. All donations to the cause will go to programmes which combat hunger in the US.
Although the big reunion has been delayed, HBO Max, which will air the special, has promised that there's still plenty to be excited about.
"The cast and producers are all very excited to go into production, as this will be the first time since the show ended that the whole cast will be together, and on the original sets to reminisce," it said in a statement.
"There are loads of great surprises in store and lots of rare behind-the-scenes footage they are eager to share. We will keep you informed as plans solidify and once we have a firm premiere date."
Friends airs daily on Comedy Central in the UK and is also streaming on Netflix in the UK.
