One of his customers interrupted his round when he came out of his house in his pyjamas.

"Am I on camera?" he panicked as he noticed the crew but didn't realise that he was broadcasting live on This Morning.

The milkman continued to talk to the camera and delivered some goods on the man's doorstep.

"I didn't order this," he complained.

The milkman reassured him he would come back later to pick up the unwanted items but the awkward moment set Holly off in giggles.

And fans rushed to Twitter to point out the unplanned blunder.

"Darren: Here’s this customer I’ve served him for years!! Customer: STOP DELIVERING STUFF I DONT WANT LMAOOOOO," one viewer tweeted.

"Did the old guy say that he was delivering things he don’t want !!!" another added.

"Did the old guy just moan at him there," a third added.

It's not the first time Holly has lost it this week, yesterday she couldn't control her giggles as the This Morning team debated whether or not the Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy are "essential workers".

The discussion came after New Zealand's Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern tried her best to reassure worried children at the weekend - and Holly and her co-host Phillip Schofield admitted that it was one of the strangest discussions they'd had on the show.

While Holly, 39, thought that the politician had done the right thing to try and comfort young people who are anxious during the pandemic, guest Nick Ferrari was furious at the Easter Bunny and Tooth Fairy being given the same title as NHS workers.

He ranted: "If you are a frontline worker, paramedic, nurse, bus driver... To be compared to the Tooth Fairy I just think is a bit weird."
