RuPaul's Drag Race UK star Divina De Campo almost quit over unaired moment - digitalspy.com

Divina De Campo has admitted she considered quitting RuPaul’s Drag Race UK after experiencing a rough week.

During the second week of the show, the Brighouse queen was in the losing team following the acting challenge Downton Draggy.

Speaking to Digital Spy about her lowest point in the competition, Divina admitted that it never actually made it to air.

"Week two where I’m crying," she said. "I nearly left that week, I nearly went home. I just thought I don’t need to put myself through this, I already have a good career, I already have a really good fanbase.

"What you didn’t get to see was when Michelle [Visage] said to Scaredy Kat, ‘Are we always going to see this make-up on you?' she then said, ‘Because you have these incredible make-up artists around you, why don’t you ask Blu [Hydrangea] or Cheryl [Hole] or Crystal for some advice?'

"I was on the stage at the same time, and that really f**ked me up for the entire competition. It really f**ked with my head. Then all the judges ripped my outfit to shreds."

She added: "So not only am I in the bottom team, they hated my outfit, they basically said my make-up skills were dog s**t, so I thought, ‘This is not it, I didn’t come here to do this.' That’s why I was crying.

"Watching it back, the audience don’t get to see that so I looked like a crazy person. I felt really responsible because none of the others had the same theatrical background as me so I felt really bad that I didn’t help them to do better because I had more experience."
