The GMB host took to his Twitter page to criticise the pair for their proclamation that they are naming their organisation “Archewell” after a Greek word that according to the couple means “source of action.” However, as the Prime Minister currently battles severe coronavirus symptoms in St Thomas ICU, Mr Morgan tweeted that the former Sussex couple’s Hollywood plans are not at the forefront of the British agenda.
He wrote: “Total number of f*cks the British public give about these two announcing their ‘plans’ from Hollywood right now: 0.”
It comes as Meghan and Harry are yet to send their well wishes to Boris Johnson after Kate and William shared a message of support across social media.
Twitter users were quick to express their dismay that the couple had not yet reached out to the Prime Minister.
One said: “There’s a time and a place to make announcements and now really isn’t the time, what would have been nice is a message of support to a country they say to love and best wishes to our PM.”
Another replied: “No one cares. Boris Johnson is fighting for his life, American is on its knees, developing countries are bracing to get slaughtered but we are supposed to care about an announcement of a charitable foundation??!! The Sussex’s have NO perspective.”
A third commented: “Coming less than 48 hours after the Queen's speech and PMs admission to hospital shows lack of judgement and understanding of the nation's priorities.”
It comes as Mr Morgan hit back at people who had trolled the Prime Minister’s serious condition.

“The man’s fighting for his life.”
Recent footage taken at the last royal engagement for Meghan and Harry, showed the prince apparently “ignoring” Mr Johnson.
The video showed the Prince greeting attendees at the commonwealth service in Westminster Abbey enthusiastically, except for Boris Johnson.
In the clip, it appears that Harry hurriedly shakes his hand before swiftly moving on.
Harry was also reportedly caught out on a hoax call saying that the recent election battle between former Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn and Mr Johnson showed that the “system is broken.”
The duke said of Boris Johnson: “I think he is a good man, so you are one of few people who can reach into his soul and get him to feel and believe in you.
“But you have to understand that because he has been around for so long like all of these other people, they are already set in their ways.
“They believe what they want to believe, they believe what they have been told."
Meanwhile the Queen, Prince Charles, Camilla Parker Bowles, Kate Middleton and Prince William have all sent personal messages of support to the Prime Minister.
