MADISON SALKOWSKI
VOLLEYBALL
Madison Salkowski (Cold Spring, Ky.) has been a devoted member of the volleyball team for the last four seasons. Despite battling injuries that wiped out her junior year, Salkowski played in 76 career matches and totaled 181 kills and 145 blocks in the middle blocker position. Returning from a torn ACL, she had a fruitful senior year, seeing action in 22 matches. At BIG EAST powerhouse Marquette, Salkowski had six kills, only one attack error and four blocks.
A two-time BIG EAST All-Academic Team member, Salkowski will be returning to Seton Hall this fall to pursue her MBA.
Q: What's your favorite memory competing for your team?
A: Beating St. John's freshman year at home on senior day that clinched the BIG EAST playoff spot.
Q: What's your favorite snack at "The Cafe?"
A: Any fries, like any fries
Q: Who's the teammate you'll most remember?
A: All of them honestly there are a few girls that I know I'll stay lifelong friends with
Q: Who was your favorite Professor?
A: Dr. Ladik, but he loves to go by Dr. Dan-o
Q: What is the BIG EAST Team you wanted to defeat the most?
A: Villanova and Xavier
Q: What will you miss the most?
A: Playing in Walsh Gym and everything Seton Hall gave me
Q: What's your favorite Seton Hall team to watch (not your own)?
A: Men's Basketball
Q: Will you ever step on the green's seal after graduation?
A: Yes for sure just once, and then I won't since I'm getting my MBA from Seton Hall too, haha
