RH Line

Please remove the RH Line from the Reporter-Herald newspaper. It was so refreshing not to have it in there. Now it’s back. It’s terrible.

I’m so happy the RH Line is back so we can once again read comments from you knuckle-draggers about how masks are not working and how it’s all a Democratic ploy and how the Reporter-Herald doesn’t know what they’re doing. It’s so nice to have all the self-proclaimed experts back.

Coronavirus

To the person in Sunday morning’s paper that commented that it’s against his First Amendment rights and he is not going to wear a mask and not going to social distance: That it’s just the scientists telling us how to protect ourselves. The Constitution has not been suspended. And if you or one your family gets the virus, it’s probably from someone who wasn’t wearing a mask.

After reading the RH column and listening to how people are so upset that they have to wear a mask to protect other people: That would be like going into combat, not wearing a helmet because it messes up your hair, not wearing a flak jacket because it’s hot, and not taking a weapon because you got to clean it. There are reasons that people have to protect each other. Please respect the rest of us.

There is a study which was conducted by a specialist in fluid dynamics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology that suggests that droplets could reach up to 26 feet for sneezes and 16 to 19 feet for coughs. A cough may produce up to 3,000 droplets; a sneeze, up to 40,000 droplets. Aerosols — micron-sized droplets — may linger in the air for hours. The issue is not being 6 feet away from a person you may pass. The issue is walking through and inhaling droplets that may be suspended in the air that a person is coming from after coughing or sneezing. … Seems to me wearing a mask is wisdom, not to mention common sense.

Everybody … (needs) to take a chill pill and relax. Take a deep breath, relax. Please do what your federal, state and local authorities and governments ask. What is it hurting? Wearing a mask in public is not taking any rights away or violating any of your rights. It may be (keeping) you, a loved one or friend from getting sick or even dying. Can you look at yourself at the end of the day in the mirror and say, “I may have caused that illness or death”? I don’t think anybody wants to do that. Please just follow the rules.

Regarding wearing a mask: I’d rather be wrong if it does no good than sorry and catching the virus.

For all the people who see tyranny because they’re told to wear masks or to socially distance: I have never seen the Bill of Rights part about shopping. I hope you never seen real tyranny.

This Tom Gonzales, Larimer County public health director, how long does he want me to wear a mask in Larimer County? You don’t post that. You don’t want to post your phone number. And how many of my constitutional rights are you taking from me?

I think it’s time we remove whoever those health officials are for Larimer County. It’s nonsense. And if you don’t remove them, we need to remove the commissioners that are allowing these people to make a mockery out of what’s going on. This is just craziness. We all don’t need masks. Knock it off.

It does not makes any sense to open a business without a vaccine. Even at 6-feet apart, the building’s air conditioning, heating, and ceiling fans are circulating the air which defeats the purpose sorry folks.

Thank you

I want to thank the Reporter-Herald and my carrier. I moved to a new address (Saturday). My newspaper was at the front door of the apartment building I moved to (Sunday) morning before 7 o’clock. I’m very grateful and appreciative.

Loveland star

Who turned off our bright shining star? It was an example of hope hovering over Loveland and our wonderful town.
