Editor’s note: As the number of new cases of coronavirus in Hawaii continues to flatten, we’re adjusting our daily tracking stories to give you the topline data along with links to websites where you can dive deeper. We’ll be updating these graphics daily when the state Department of Health releases new numbers. Others that show how Hawaii compares nationally refresh automatically when those sites are updated.
One new case of COVID-19 was confirmed in Hawaii County on Tuesday, taking the state’s case count to 641.
To date, 90% of people diagnosed have been “released from isolation” by the Department of Health, meaning they’ve gone at least three days without a fever and muscle pain, or at least 10 days have passed since the onset of symptoms.
