MICHAEL Barrymore today broke his silence to claim he has been "bashed and bullied" over the death of Stuart Lubbock at his mansion 19 years ago.
The TV star has continuously denied any wrongdoing - but police insist Mr Lubbock, 31, was raped and murdered in Essex in 2001.
A two-hour documentary his death is due to be aired tonight on Channel 4 - but Barrymore, 67, has slammed producers for not speaking to him about the show.
Speaking in a video posted in Twitter today, Barrymore said: "Channel 4 are refusing to show it to me or tell me what it is about.
"Anyone who wants to get to the truth of the matter should watch the ITV interview I did last year with Piers Morgan. He went into everything and left no stone unturned.
"The truth is, I have always done everything asked of me and I've co-operated with everyone.
"Essex Police's own QC has said that 'we know that Mr Barrymore has nothing to do with this and that there is no evidence linking him to the injuries on Mr Lubbock or the pool.
"I have had nothing to do with this whatsoever and yet I keep getting bashed and bullied by the media."
'I HOPE THEY FIND PEACE'
The ex-Strike It Lucky host said he may comment further after Barrymore: The Body in the Pool airs tonight.
He also expressed his "heartfelt sympathies" to Mr Lubbock's family and said he hoped they would "find peace".
Barrymore added: "It is for that reason that I have constantly pressed for an independent police force to examine everything to do with the case and reach a proper conclusion and I shall continue to do so."
It comes after The Sun exclusively revealed Barrymore and his seven pool party guests are still being linked to the rape and murder of Mr Lubbock.
POOL DEATH
Cops said they were investigating a “cover-up” and none could be ruled out of their investigation.
Barrymore, his ex-lover Jonathan Kenney, and dustman Justin Merritt were all previously arrested over the death before being released without charge.
A £40,000 reward has been put up for information by The Sun and Crimestoppers - after cops blasted the “lies” spun over the past 19 years.
The 2002 inquest recorded an open verdict after failing to conclude what caused Stuart’s death.
A post-mortem revealed the meat packer had ecstasy, cocaine and alcohol in his system.
Ex-Strike It Lucky host Barrymore, 67, has always denied involvement.
From earning £2million a year, his career collapsed and he now lives modestly in a West London flat.
