She turned down Josh Kempton's advances whilst pining for Callum Jones.
And although Shaughna Phillips is set to be left heartbroken after Callum made a move on new girl Molly Smith, it seems she's had a lucky escape with Josh.
The democratic services officer rebuffed Josh earlier in the week, and it has since been revealed that he didn't set out to pursue her.

Prior to entering the villa, Josh was asked which girls he had his eyes on, and only mentioned Rebecca Gormley, Sophie Piper and Jess Gale.
He said of the trio: 'Rebecca is mysterious, Sophie's smile and laugh is contagious and Jess's personality is so kind-hearted.'
Josh seemed to have change of heart shortly afterwards, however, as he immediately made a beeline for her and laid it on thick.
Pulling her aside for a chat in Monday's episode, he said: 'I'm going to lay my cards on the table here, but I think you're super gorgeous. Your personality is awesome. I think you're great.
'I feel like you and me would get along. If you're pretty safe with Callum, I can't rock that. But I feel like I can give you a bit more than Callum can give.'

Despite Josh's best efforts, he didn't manage to tempt Shaughna, who has remained loyal to Callum.
A first look at Thursday night's Love Island sees the girls left astounded as the boys return to the Main Villa for the recoupling.

Whilst Siannise appears to be secure in her relationship with Luke Trotman, the same cannot be said for Shaughna, whose partner Callum Jones has been romancing new girl Molly Smith.
Earlier in the episode, the Islanders in each villa receive a text, detailing that a recoupling will happen tonight and that they must decide whether to stick in their original couples or couple up with a new Islander.
Shaughna is left doubting her relationship with Callum as she confesses: 'I'm so scared about putting that trust into someone.'

Meanwhile, in Casa Amor, her partner Finley Tapp is thinking about taking the next step with the Scottish beauty as he chats with Luke T.
Finn reasons: 'If I enter that villa and she's single, I would feel like, I've come here to find someone and I've found it 100%.'

Speaking of Siânnise Luke T admits: 'It will probably make it clear that we're exclusive', as Finn replies: 'I was thinking that but I didn't want to say it…'
As nerves kick in Finn admits: 'I'm really hoping Paige has stuck with me – it's just waiting, waiting to see the outcome.'
Nas Majeed, who is coupled up with Demi Jones but has been romancing Eve Zapico, predicts: 'This is going to be a fiery one.'
And he is right to be concerned, as Demi is seen admitting: 'I hope I'm going to be pleasantly surprised by Nas... I really hope he doesn't bring a new girl back.'
Callum, meanwhile, laments: 'Everyone is going to hate me when I get back'.
