Avengers: Endgame alternate posters show the original Avengers as they turn to dust - digitalspy.com

A collection of alternate posters for Avengers: Endgame arrived online yesterday (April 21).

Produced by artist 'Bosslogic', his work is both beautiful and bleak, as several of Earth's Mightiest Heroes can be seen gradually disintegrating into dust.

The posters, which you can view further down this article, were uploaded to Bosslogic's Instagram account, where he thanked Avengers: Endgame directors Anthony Russo and Joseph Russo.

He captioned his post: "The awesome people over at @inverse Wrote this great article about the official endgame posters I made and the unused versions that didn't make the cut, always a pleasure talking to you guys. Link in bio.

"Just want to take a second to thank @therussobrothers for letting me have the opportunity to work on this movie And thank you to Disney letting me do it [heart emoji] So much has changed since then career wise and I owe most of it to Joe and Anthony [sic]."

In these eye-poppingly cool images, Chris Evans' Captain America, Robert Downey Jr's Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth's Thor, Jeremy Renner's Hawkeye, Mark Ruffalo's Incredible Hulk and Scarlett Johansson's Black Widow all feature in various forms throughout their MCU tenure.

The Endgame stamp is the clearest, while their dusty old selves fade away like memories.

Who knows why they weren't used for the movie's marketing, but at least they've finally been released for public consumption.
