Love Island's Shaughna's 'innocent act' exposed as she shows 'deceitful side' - Irish Mirror

Love Island's Shaughna Phillips may not be as innocent as she has been portraying, a leading sex and relationships expert has told.

The Essex babe had her heart broken when Callum Jones pushed her to the sidelines for Molly Smith after having his head turned in Casa Amor.

The star has painted herself as the moral figure of the villa but she could soon be exposed for being 'deceitful' after admitting she has feelings for Luke M - despite him being pursued by Shaughna's pal Demi Jones, Doctor Sarah Welsh has revealed.

“Shaughna’s innocent act is creeping up on her as we saw a new deceitful side to her in last night’s episode," the founder of HANX sexual wellness products told Mirror Online.

"Her newfound liking for Luke M is breaking girl code with close friend Demi. Some fans challenged if it’s a ploy for Shaughna to stay in the villa."

Doctor Welsh added: "This is worrying as it raises the question if Shaughna’s friendships in the villa have been real.

"Demi has been one of her close friends, especially when Shaughna was left heartbroken by Callum.

"Although she said she wants to talk to Demi first about the situation, this has not stopped Shaughna from discussing it with other the Islanders and flirting with Luke M.

"This behaviour is two-faced and will probably end up in tears."

On Wednesday's episode of Love Island Shaughna admitted she has feelings for Luke M.

Confessing all to pal Mike, she told: "Do you know who I do get along with? Luke M…"

"He’s a cool guy," Mike agreed. "Do you think you could possibly go there?"

Shaughna coyly admitted that she's not sure as Mike probed her on whether she's spoken to him like that before.

"I think since Jamie has come into the villa and been chatting to me and what not, it’s made me realise some things," Shaughna replied. "I think I might have some feelings for Luke M…"

Mike went on to tell Finn and Paige what Shaughna said, leaving the pair stunned.

In the Beach Hut, Paige said: "Initially I was shocked. But maybe when you put all the pieces together, I’m shocked I’ve not seen it before. Every time he walks by, Shaughna drops him comments, every time he’s there, they flirt.

"She married him in the Snog, Marry… Pie game. Maybe the signs have been there and we’ve just never asked the question. So it’ll be interesting to see how this pans out.”
