Paddy McGuinness was involved in a war of words on Sunday after a man questioned why he had parked in a disabled bay.
The 46-year-old Top Gear presenter - who shares autistic twins Leo and Penelope, six, and daughter Felicity, three, with his wife Christine, 31 - was dropping his three children off at a play centre when he suffered what he called 'a deep breath and walk away moment'.
Paddy took to Twitter to describe the moment a man, who was parked in another disabled bay, approached him to say his family did not look disabled.
Furious: Paddy McGuinness, 46, was dropping his three autistic children off at a play centre when he suffered what he called 'a deep breathe and walk away moment' (pictured with wife Christine in 2017)
Leo and Penelope were diagnosed as autistic in 2017, while Felicity is also showing signs of autism but can't be diagnosed until she's at least three or four.
'I took a deep breath and sent my children in,' he said. 'Luckily they didn't understand what was going on.
'Once they'd happily gone in I approached this ignorant took. All I wanted to do was bounce him off every car but there would only be one loser in that, me.'

The father-of-three advised his 400,000 followers to 'stay calm, take the deep breathe and educate the ignorant' if they ever find themselves in the same situation.
He added: 'The ignorance and sheer pomposity of telling someone they don’t look disabled really makes my blood boil! How does someone have to look to have a disability?'
Paddy revealed a few years ago he would have reacted differently to the situation, saying: 'He'd be on his a**e and putting in a call to the tabloids'.
Hidden disability: Paddy took to Twitter to describe the moment a man, who was parked in another disabled bay, approached him to say his family did not look disabled
'I would’ve been vilified and labelled a thug. My wife and children would’ve been upset and I’d more than likely be out of a job,' he said.
'Instead I tried to explain to him that not all disabilities are the same.'
Hundreds of his followers commented their support, as one fan penned: 'Tell them where to go and not all disabilities are visible, really gets on my nerves the lack of people that are unaware of the daily struggles people with all disabilities go through and the families.'

Another added: 'Been there multiple times! Both my kids have multiple special needs.
'We’ve had near hit experiences in car parks when we haven’t used disabled spaces.
'My daughter bolted once right into the path of a car because she was spooked! I’m sick of having to explain myself.'
Support: Hundreds of his followers commented their support, as Louise Cross penned: 'Tell them where to go and not all disabilities are visible, really gets on my nerves the lack of people that are unaware of the daily struggles people with all disabilities go through'
A third said: 'Best way to deal with idiots is ignore them or laugh at them. We get looks when my autistic son is stimming away when out shopping.
'I just ignore it or laugh at them! They have the problem, not us.'
Paddy's wife Christine has previously opened up about caring for Leo and Penelope.
The model spoke about the struggles the family face on a day to day basis including the twins' need for routine and familiarity and the lengths she will go it to get it.
Speaking on Loose Women in 2017, she said: 'Leo's got more problems with food. He's had a lot of food therapy and we try and help him as much as he can.
'He likes everything beige, he likes everything dry, he doesn't like any smell or texture. So he's crackers, crisps, toast if it's a particular butter, which I can't always get.'
