Coronation Street star Gray O’Brien reveals he’s been battling ‘devastating’ tonsil cancer for three months
The actor has revealed that he has been battling stage four tonsil cancer, and the diagnosis "devastated" him.
He discovered he had been living with the condition after visiting his doctor with swollen glands around August.
Since his diagnosis Glasgow-born O'Brien has had 30 rounds of radiotherapy over six weeks.
Gray is best known for playing baddie businessman Tony Gordon in Coronation Street between 2007 and 2010, and he has also appeared in Casualty and River City.

The Sun's Dan Wootton spilled the beans on Katie's astonishing rant on a packed train on Monday evening - just hours before she was declared bankrupt by a judge.
Katie blamed her ex for her financial woes, telling stunned commuters: "I’ve known it’s coming, going bankrupt, because I took him (Andre) to court. He’s the worst person ever."
She also thanked Prince Andrew and Jeffrey Epstein — in the belief the royal scandal was keeping her out of the news.
