Carrie Underwood puts on a high-fashion frenzy and dons no less than nine different show-stopping ensembles for the CMA Awards in Nashville
You could call Carrie Underwood an expert when it comes to knowing the ins-and-outs of playing host of the CMA Awards.
And part of her expertise has been being able to slip in and out of an array of high-fashion ensembles in-between performances as a nominee.
For her 12th consecutive year as host of Wednesday's 53rd Annual CMA Awards at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, the 36-year-old songstress strutted her stuff in no less than nine different outfits on country music's biggest night.
The fashion frenzy started when the Heartbeat singer hit the red carpet in a sheer floral gown by Edie Madi, complete with gold-patterned embellishments and a long train.
For the opening number of the evening, she changed into an orange-fringe mini-dress by Nicole and Felici and stood between co-hosts and country legends Dolly Parton and Reba McEntire for a rendition of Parton's hit 1987 song Those Memories Of You.
But by the time she handed out the Single Of The Year award to Blake Shelton she opted for a royal blue pantsuit from Any Old Iron, according to Aol.
Underwood got leggy again when she slipped into a sequin green halter dress by The Blonds that had a slit on the right, allowing her to flaunt her gams at a moments notice.

From there, the Oklahoma native took a break from her hosting duties and changed into a black sequined Maison Alexandrine pantsuit for a sultry performance of her single Drinking Alone from her latest studio album, Cry Pretty.
The pants gave a hint of her legs with its sheer pattern along the legs that flared out from the knees down.
She rounded out the outfit with silver belt and a black Panama hat over her long blonde tresses.
The mother-of-two went back to another leggy outfit in a silver sequin mini-dress dress by Nicole and Felicia when she slipped back into her hosting duties.

At one point she was also photographed wearing and orange and red mini skirt ensemble.
Underwood, 36, was nominated for three awards at this year's CMAs, but lost out on Entertainer Of The Year, Female Vocalist Of The Year and Album Of The Year, which went to Garth Brooks, Kacey Musgraves and Maren Morris respectively.
