AMY Winehouse’s ex was arrested yesterday after allegedly setting fire to his own flat.

Blake Fielder-Civil, 37, is said to have invited neighbours to “come smoke on this crack pipe” as they called 999.

One resident at the 16-storey block in Leeds said: “All we could think about was Grenfell.”

Krystal Howard, 33, who lives next-door, added: “A neighbour came braying on our door shouting that there was a fire.

“We have come out and seen and smelt the smoke and seen Blake just standing out on the landing. He said, ‘It’s only a bit of smoke’.”

Blake is then said to have offered a crack pipe before heading from his seventh-floor pad up to the ninth floor — leaving his flat ablaze as others called the fire service.

He was later arrested on suspicion on arson and taken to hospital as a precaution.

Residents said he is considered a problem tenant due to his drug use.

Krystal’s husband John, 52, added: “I hope they lock him up and he doesn’t come back.”

Blake was married to Amy for two years before their 2009 divorce and has admitted introducing her to heroin.

He also claims to have written some of her hits and wants £1million from her estate.

Amy died of alcohol poisoning in July 2011 aged 27.
