MOLLY-MAE Hague has come under fire on Instagram after being accused of cultural appropriation for dressing up as Egyptian ruler Cleopatra for Halloween.
The influencer and model, 20, recreated the pharaoh's famous look complete with an elaborate headpiece, golden Ankh and heavy eyeliner.
And while the majority of her followers raved about the look, there were a number who were offended.
Taking to the comment section, one wrote: "love the look but this is cultural appropriation x."
Another posted:"cultures aren’t costumes :(."
A third demanded: "Take that off now 🤦♂️."
While a fourth urged: "Molly please don't culturally appropriate. You are not egyptian."
There were arguments among her followers too.
When one said, "My culture is not your Halloween costume" others jumped to the star's defence.
It prompted the complainant to respond: "She can appreciate and embrace my culture in so many other ways than this.
"It is offensive for her to even think my tribal clothing counts as a Halloween outfit. It doesn't. It's my tribes formal attire for royalty, it is what makes part of my tribes identity.
"Seeing it being used for an aesthetic is hurtful and really detracts from its original purpose. If she wanted to be a queen she could be the Queen from a Disney movie."
Cultural appropriation is when someone from one culture adopts elements of another.
Others fought back on Molly's behalf, with one writing: "you can literally dress up as whatever you want. If you want to get upset about it, I can't stop you. But you're just going to have to accept that not everyone sees the world through the same lense as you."
Another said: "oh shush. Calm down."
As a third posted: "why not celebrate another culture? It’s not done in an offensive way and it’s Cleopatra??"
Earlier this week Molly-Mae said her relationship with Tommy Fury is "meant to be" and living together is "perfect".
The couple have been inseparable ever since meeting four months ago in the famous villa.
While other couples - including winners Amber Gill and Greg O'Shea - have split within weeks of leaving, Tommy and Molly, both 20, are already moved in and planning their future.
When asked how they've managed to buck the trend and stay together, Molly told The Sun Online: "There's no secret.
"If it's meant to be, it's meant to be and for us it was meant to be.
"That's it really, I cant' say any more than that.
"We're living together and we're so happy.
"We're going from strength to strength.
"It's been perfect living together. We're like two peas in a pod. It just works."
The pair live in a lavish Manchester pad after coming second in the ITV reality show earlier this year.
The luxurious flat comes complete with a two-tier indoor sauna and mood lighting.
Filming a YouTube video from there, the couple talked about having kids in the not-to-distant future.
Tommy cheekily joked they were "trying" to have a baby most nights.
The loved up pair also admit they have never had an argument since leaving the villa in July - despite having moved in together.
Asked about their biggest argument to date, Molly said: "Now honestly, this isn't even a lie, we've not had one argument."
Tommy added: "Literally not one. That's what I said, could you even pick one?"
Molly said: "We just constantly laugh. I'm not even just saying this to be like, oh we're the perfect couple, because we're not, but we just don't argue, do we?"
