TV legend Paul Chuckle has slammed a "totally disrespectful" Halloween stunt at one of London's most popular nightclubs that allowed patrons to pose for snaps on a mock grave belonging to his brother Barry.
The ChuckleVision star, 72, was left in "a state of shock" after discovering the prop at gay club Heaven on Saturday, which made light of the death of his brother from bone cancer in August 2018.
Paul - whose real surname is Elliott - told The Sun from his holiday in Benidorm: "I’m genuinely in a state of shock! I just can’t believe it.
"I think it’s totally disrespectful not only to me but to his wife, kids and grandchildren and all our families. They will be devastated by this.
"I genuinely don’t know what to say, what world do we now live in?"
The Sun has reached out to Heaven club for comment.
The distasteful stunt came the same weekend as Paul claimed he still spoke to Barry in the afterlife.
He told The Mirror: "He's been in so many of my dreams since he passed, and I believe in the afterlife - it's comforting he's contacting me that way.
"I talk about the good times with [wife] Sue, so I'm not just being upset, missing him."
Barry kept his cancer battle secret from Paul until weeks before passed away at the age of 73.
The brothers became a comedic double act in their teens and shot to fame in 1987 with the iconic BBC One show ChuckleVision.
The show ran for 22 years and at the height of its popularity was shown three times a day.
Paul said at the time of Barry's death: "I've not just lost my brother, I've lot my theatrical partner of many, many years and my very best friend."
Paul also suffered the loss of their brother Jimmy less than four months ago.
