Strictly Come Dancing pro Neil Jones WILL dance this weekend - digitalspy.com

Neil Jones has finally revealed if he will be competing this weekend on Strictly Come Dancing.

The pro has been sidelined for the past few weeks due to injury, leaving his celebrity partner Alex Scott to dance with Kevin Clifton on a temporary basis until Neil recuperated.

It truly was down to the wire over which of two pros would be performing the jive with Alex on Saturday night (November 9), but the final decision was ultimately revealed with mere hours to go on Friday's Strictly Come Dancing: It Takes Two.

Gethin Jones joined Alex live from rehearsals in the Strictly ballroom, where she shared some huge news following Neil's physio exam.

"I now know who I'm dancing with," she beamed, adding: "I am dancing with my normal partner!"

Neil then entered the frame to give Alex a big hug and share his own thoughts on returning to the dance floor.

"I'm back," he announced. "It's great to be back. You know, [Alex] has been doing so well every week, and Kevin, I have to say thank you because Kevin has been there all the way.

"He's been great this week, and we couldn't have done it without him."

Prior to the decision being announced, Alex paid tribute to both Neil and Kevin for getting her through the last few weeks of uncertainty.

"I just want to say how frustrating it's been for Neil." she admitted on Thursday's It Takes Two. "Just hearing everybody speak about me dancing with Kev, and this guy is amazing!

"I want to be at the level that I'm at with him right now. Whether I'm dancing with Neil or I'm dancing with Kev, they are both amazing guys."

Strictly Come Dancing 2019 continues on Saturday (November 9) at 6.50pm on BBC One.
