Strictly Come Dancing judge Shirley Ballas is urging fans to 'do their research' before gong under the knife after having a four-hour operation to remove her breast implants as a cancer precaution.
The star got candid in a new interview with The Sun, where she encouraged others to "love themselves" instead of having cosmetic surgery for the wrong reasons after previously admitting that she had a breast enlargement to try to save her marriage.
"Don’t do what I did. You can’t make somebody love you, no matter what you do to yourself. You can get implants, you can get all these procedures, thinking you will be more of a woman for that person. But it does not make a difference," she said.

"If they don’t love you, they won’t no matter what you do to your appearance. It’s learning to love yourself."
Encouraging anyone considering getting breast implants to think twice before going ahead, Shirley added: "Do your research about the implants. I did not do mine. I thought if I put them in I’d look better and my husband would think of me as more desirable.

"I made this choice many years ago not understanding what I was really doing, except telling myself I didn’t look good enough."
The dancer also said in the new interview that she's "glad" her implants have now been removed and confirmed that she'd be returning to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom tonight (November 2) alongside fellow judges Craig Revel Horwood, Bruno Tonioli and Motsi Mabuse.
Shirley is now happily loved-up with boyfriend Danny Taylor and recently revealed she's hoping to get engaged at Christmas.
