Truth about Prince Andrew's Pizza Express visit could lie in police log books which detailed where he went on the day in question
- Ex-officer says details of where Duke was would have been kept in police logs
- Prince Andrew insisted that he was at Pizza Express and not a London nightclub
- But Virginia Roberts says he had danced with her at the club before they had sex
The truth about whether Prince Andrew visited a nightclub or a Pizza Express in Woking could lie in police protection notebooks, a former officer has revealed.
The Duke of York, 59, insisted during his 'car crash' BBC interview that he couldn't have been dancing in the Tramps nightclub with Jeffrey Epstein's sex slave Virginia Roberts on March 10, 2001, as he was with his daughter Princess Beatrice for a birthday party at the pizza restaurant.
However, former royal officer Paul Page says that details of where the Duke was would have been kept in detailed police logs.
These logs would include dates and times of Andrew's supposed visit to Pizza Express and would reveal where he actually was on that day.
There have been calls for police to release the information.

Mr Page, who served in the SO14 Royalty Protection command from 1998 to 2004, told the Mirror: 'Prince Andrew would have been accompanied everywhere. A visit to Pizza Express would be noted in the pocket book.
'Tramp nightclub, individual venues and personal residences.'
Miss Roberts claims that she was trafficked to London and spent the night dancing with the Duke at the club, before he had sex with her.
She was 17 at the time.
Prince Andrew said it 'couldn't have happened' as he was 'at home with the children' that day and all evening as the Duchess of York was away.
He said he remembered the event clearly because 'going to Pizza Express in Woking is a very unusual thing for me to do.'

Andrew also said he had a condition which meant he couldn't sweat, rejecting claims from Miss Roberts that he had perspired profusely as they danced.
Former officer Mr Page questioned the Duke's defence and said he saw him sweating while playing golf in the garden at Buckingham Palace.
Speaking about the BBC interview, he added that if it had been a police interview, Andrew would've been detained in 'the back of the van'.
Mr Page was convicted over a £3million investment fraud in 2009, and, during his trial, made several claims about the royals.
The Palace said previously Mr Page made 'a series of allegations about members of the Royal Family, none of which were ever substantiated'.
