Greg James missed his second Radio 1 show on Thursday after being 'kidnapped' from a BRIT Awards after-party on Tuesday as part of an elaborate stunt.
The DJ, 34, was mysteriously absent once again from the airwaves, after sending fans into a frenzy with his disappearance, and told stand-in hosts Jordan North and Arielle Free that he was 'being messed with.'
Speaking from captivity, after being taken by a mystery celebrity, he said: 'What a weird 24 hours it's been, I'm still in the same clothes I was in yesterday.

'I guess it's nice we know a bit more of the story now. But it's been ridiculous. The amount of people getting in touch and involved is unbelievable really.
'It's clearly a stupid game that is being played with me and I'm being messed with, this has all been set up and planned meticulously.
'I woke up in this room with a microphone and a camera looking at me. Loads of things placed I don't know how long before I knew about it.'
When fans questioned a padlock attached to the inside of Greg's door and why he couldn't take it off himself, he tweeted: 'For all those mentioning the padlock on the inside...It has a code that I imagine I have to solve (with your help) in order to get out and see who my captor is...'
He said: 'It's clearly a stupid game that is being played with me and I'm being messed with, this has all been set up and planned meticulously'
Clues: The star has been asking fans for help to get out of his predicament
Billie Eilish, Sam Fender and Foals frontman Yannis Philippakis have all denied being the celebrity who took Greg, after being spotted wearing a red scarf- which Greg said was used to blindfold him when he was taken into his cell.
He also said the 'boss' who took him likes curry and rice.
The interview comes one day after Greg's wife admitted he was still missing after not making it home or to work following a wild night of partying at the BRIT Awards.
The Radio 1 DJ was a nowhere to be seen when the station's Breakfast Show came on air at 6.30am on Wednesday morning, which later turned out to be part of an elaborate stunt.
Greg's colleague Adele Roberts branded him a 'dirty little no-show' as she was forced to take over after presenting her own segment from 4am, while his wife, writer Bella Mackie, later told how he had 'got drunk and been kidnapped by his team'.

After initially telling her followers 'husband didn't come home last night', Bella later wrote: 'So from what I understand, Greg went to the Brits, got drunk and then his team kidnapped him and he's currently hungover and doesn't know where he is. Have I got that right? LOL.'
It was revealed that Greg's disappearance was an elaborate stunt, as he called into Scott Mills' afternoon show to explain he'd been 'kidnapped' from the BRITs and it was down to listeners to track him down.
Clara Amfo revealed at the close of her show that Greg had left a message via the Radio 1 podcast, telling listeners: 'I have been taken... I was taken from the Brits last night.. I was at an after-party and I was taken and I'm locked away.'
Elaborating on Scott Mills' 1pm show, Greg explained what happened further, revealing he was at the afterparty when 'it got really busy...it must have been an hour and half in, I got bundled out the back door, a blindfold was put on me and I was put in a car.'

He then said he fell asleep with headphones on before eventually being bundled out, put in a wheelchair, and taken somewhere to a building where he's been locked in an empty white room.

Greg's colleagues were not aware of the prank at 6:30am though, as Adele began the Breakfast Show by saying: 'Good morning everybody it's Radio 1 Breakfast with Adele Roberts. I can't actually believe this is happening. Greg James is a no-show, a dirty little no-show, has anyone seen him?'
'I've been trying to keep an eye on all of our little Radio 1 chickens this morning,' she continued revealing she had been keeping tabs on her colleagues on social media as they partied.
'The last time I saw him was on Grace, who used to work on Radio 1 Breakfast, on her Instagram about six hours ago, around midnight. If you do spot him please do send him our way. I saw a flash of him with Yannis from Foals.'
Still no word: Bella earlier tweeted that Greg had 'disappeared' as she joked about her interior design plans in his absence
Later as it became apparent Greg was not on his way in, Adele joked she'd be filling in for all of Radio 1's schedule of shows after fellow presenters Matt Edmondson, Mollie King, Scott Mills and Nick Grimshaw all spent their Tuesday night partying at the BRITs.
'We can't find anybody, I'll be on for everybody!' she laughed.
Radio 1's Arielle Free turned up to the studio at 7am in her dressing gown to help out along with Sunday presenter Jordan North, with the pair surviving on a couple of hours sleep.
A clue? BRIT winners Foals provided the last sighting of Greg, sharing an Instagram from the ceremony telling Greg 'we won you are coming with us'

'I got back from holiday yesterday morning, didn't sleep on the flight then went to the BRITs and now I'm here... I'm ticked off. I got a call from a boss...he said 'Adele's here but she's been on for hours and we kind of need someone to come in'. I said 'have you tried anyone else?''
'I then found our Jordan and Arielle here...but our boss said 'please still come in, we've had to send Arielle home because she's drunk and Jordan's voice has gone!''.

As the show wore on, the presenters began to get suspicious Greg was playing a prank, following Radio 1's past high jinks which has seen the star play a nationwide game of hide and seek on air.
In the end Greg didn't make it for the duration of his show, with Clara Amfo, who was also at the awards, managing to make it for the start of her show at 10am.
