How Scarlett Johansson, 35, Gets Her Skin Red-Carpet Ready Without Breaking The Bank - Women's Health

  • Scarlett Johansson is nominated for two Oscars this year.
  • Her skincare routine is super affordable, with multiple products from The Inkey List.
  • The Marriage Story star used to be harsh with her skin, but now only uses gentle products.

Actress Scarlett Johansson is having an incredible awards season. She's picked up Golden Globes, SAG Awards, and more. Now, she's nominated for two Oscars: Best Actress In A Leading Role for Marriage Story and Best Actress In A Supporting Role for Jojo Rabbit. And her love life is going pretty well, too...she's also engaged to SNL star Colin Jost.

Besides alllll that and being super fit, Scarlett's skin is one of the most enviable things about her. And for good reason—she takes her skincare routine SERIOUSLY.

For the 2020 Golden Globes, Scarlett's beauty pro, Frankie Boyd, shared how he prepped Scarlett's skin.

Scarlett's go-to skincare products are surprisingly affordable.

Believe it or not, all the products total just $31 (!!!). They're from a line called The Inkey List (which is available at Sephora).

According to Boyd's Instagram, he prepped Scarlett's skin with the brand's Hyaluronic Acid Serum ($7.99), followed by the Caffeine Eye Cream ($9.99), and finished her look off with the Hemp Oil Moisturizer ($12.99) that is rich in omega-3 fatty acids and green tea extract.

But she splurges on other parts of her beauty routine.

Boyd also shared with Marie Claire that he's prepped Scarlett's skin with La Mer Moisturising Soft Cream, which he mixes with a few drops of La Mer Renewal Oil.

The Multiple

After that, he uses NARS The Multiple in Copacabana to highlight the bridge of the nose, cupid’s bow, top of chin and the high planes of the cheekbones "to give skin dimension and create that celebrity glow."

Scarlett wasn't always a skincare queen.

In fact, the Black Widow star shared with StyleCaster that she used to be pretty harsh on her skin, but now she's way more gentle.

"I used to be really stringent with my cleaning regimen," she explained. "And one time I realized, 'Wow, I’m cleaning my face too much.' I think you realize when you get older, you don’t need to be as stringent with your cleaning. It is probably better to use cleansing milks and creams and things that are more gentle on your skin. So I’ve changed my whole beauty regimen to just using milk cleansers and things that are really moisturizing."

Clearly, it's working for her.
