LIAM Payne fans were left emotional tonight as he revealed he suffered suicidal thoughts as he struggled with fame.
The 26-year-old also opened up about his relationship regrets with ex Cheryl in a frank conversation for Sky One's Ant Middleton And Liam Payne: Straight Talking.

Liam, who became a part of 1D on the X Factor in 2010 aged just 16, admitted: “For some certain circumstances I’m quite lucky to be here still.
“There are times when that level of loneliness and people getting into you every day, it’s like, ‘When will this end?’ That’s almost nearly killed me a couple of times.”
SAS hardman Ant asked if Liam had wanted to act on it — and the singer replied: “Yeah, when I’ve been in a bad place. It’s one hundred per cent, you know.
"There’s no point denying it — it’s definitely been on the menu a couple of times in my life.”
Since reaching global stardom in 1D with Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik, he has had a successful solo career and become a dad to son Bear with his ex Cheryl Tweedy.

But he says fatherhood "messed" him up and that he was "worried I would not be enough to look after the both of them".
Liam said: "Becoming a dad at such a young age, it's such a difficult thing. And I think I built fatherhood up so much in my head that it kind of messed me up to start with. I started in a bad place with it.
"I think it spooked me out early on, and I was just worried I would not be enough to look after the both of them. They're so important to me — Cheryl as well."
Reacting on Twitter about the documentary, one fan said: "Just watched @LiamPayne and Ant Middleton on Straight Talk. Brilliant and honest watch it if you can. Funny and brave but shed a tear for Liam."
