The royal couple made their first public appearance of the month on Thursday at Westminster Abbey’s Field of Remembrance to view the plots of tiny crosses erected by regiments, military units and other organisations associated with the First World War and other conflicts. The Field of Remembrance is an event organised every November by the Poppy Factory to commemorate those who have lost their lives in the Armed Forces. Body-language expert Blanca Cobb keenly observed proceedings and provided some fascinating insights into Meghan and Harry’s state of mind.
She claims that the royal couple are happy to “engage with the public, but they’re doing so at a distance”, while remaining “very emotionally connected to each other”.
Pointing to a photo showing Meghan and Harry looking adoringly at one another, Ms Cobb says: “It’s really obvious there’s only one person who has Meghan’s attention, and that’s her husband, Harry.
“Along with what Meghan and Harry have said about media scrutiny, this image shows that they’re pulling into themselves.”
In another photo, Harry is seen looking back towards Meghan, who is following him, but with her eyes cast down.
The body-language expert elaborated on the significance of this captured moment.
She said: “This picture shows a polite disconnect from the public.
“Meghan is looking down, but Harry is looking in Meghan’s direction.
“Meghan is the only person who is truly behind Harry, so it’s safe to say he is checking in on his wife.”

On Saturday Meghan and Harry will team up with William and Kate, when they attend the annual Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall.
The couple are then heading into a six week break, which will see them travel to the US and spend Thanksgiving with Meghan’s mum, Doria Ragland.
A royal insider close to the couple has revealed to OK! magazine that Meghan and Harry are planning their second child and that Meghan intends to give birth in the US, so as to be close to family and friends.
The Duchess is said to have felt “lonely’ and “isolated” during her pregnancy with Archie and is now determined not to repeat the experience.
The source said: “Meghan already told pals that when she comes to deliver her next baby, she’d like to do it in LA where she was born and bred.
“She said that being pregnant in the UK without any of her family and friends felt incredibly lonely and uncomfortable for her.
“So she’s keen to change that the second time around and would like to buck tradition to ensure she’s happy – although that may ruffle feathers along the way.”
The source added: ”Meghan wants to spend the first three months post-birth at home in LA with Doria and bond with the baby away from prying eyes.
“It’s the place she calls home, after all, which she says is vital for her mental health.”
