STAR Wars: The Mandalorian boss has left fans reeling after he posted an original design for Baby Yoda.
The Disney+ series is set five years after the events of Return of the Jedi and follows a bounty hunter beyond the reaches of the New Republic.

The Mandalorian - played by Pedro Pascal - discovers a small green creature with big ears in one scenes, and viewers quickly nicknamed it "Baby Yoda".
Taking to Twitter on Tuesday, show boss Jon Favreau uploaded the artwork for the creatures original design.
He captioned the cute picture: "Original concept art #TheMandalorian."
Fans of the franchise immediately commented underneath, with one writing: "You da man Jon Baby Yoda is the best thing to happen to Star Wars in years.

"I love how a violent action series with little dialogue can also be what spawns the cutest Star War Character Ever! We Love Baby Yoda!"
Another added: "There is no choice. I can’t understand how in the galaxy I have fallen in love with Baby Yoda so quickly, so completely.
"The ears, the little hands, I cannot."
A third tweeted: "This little guy has changed my life! I absolutely cannot thank you enough for bringing this amazing character to our Star Wars loving lives."
However Greef Carga star Carl Weathers has hinted 'Baby Yoda' isn't the Yoda from the original trilogy, and there could be more to the character.
Indeed, episode two of The Mandalorian saw 'Baby Yoda' save the lead character's life by using The Force.
