A lot of actors don't like watching themselves back, and Star Wars' Mark Hamill is no exception.
On Tuesday (November 5), online fundraising platform Omaze shared a video of Hamill reacting to his audition tape for the role of Luke Skywalker – and the actor was left cringing on more than one occasion.

Sharing the video on his own Twitter account, Hamill wrote: "It wasn't easy for me to watch this, ("WHO TALKS LIKE THIS?!") but I suffered through it just for you, because it IS a great charity.
"Love that #omaze kindly provided subtitles, so you don't miss a single moronic comment."
The audition tape shows Hamill reading lines with a mostly-off-screen Harrison Ford, as Hamill reveals that was the first time the two of them ever met.
"He's always been one of my favourite people, I'm so lucky to have been able to work with him because he was the personification of cool," Hamill explained.
"He was Han Solo. He's better in the screen test than I am and he's off camera!"

"Why did I call him 'Hans' instead of 'Han'?" Hamill mocks himself later in the clip, before adding that George Lucas had told the actors to pronounce the characters' names however they wanted.
He also added that Carrie Fisher's Princess Leia was the "final piece of the puzzle", and insisted that "she made Han and Luke look like chumps".
"She was anything but what I expected," he added.

Hamill is fundraising for the USC McMorrow Neighborhood Academic Initiative (NAI) and by donating you could be in with the chance of winning two tickets to the Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker premiere in Los Angeles and go for dinner with Hamill, with flights and a 4-star hotel included.
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker has a release date of Thursday, December 19 in the UK and Friday, December 20 in the US.
