Dancing On Ice DENY Hamish Gaman 'bullied' former partner Caprice Bourret amid claims 'model is poised to sue ITV over their fallout'

Dancing On Ice has denied that professional Hamish Gaman 'bullied' his former skating partner Caprice Bourret.

It comes amid claims that the model, 48, 'is poised to sue ITV over their fallout' and allegations that the skater 'gaslighted' her in tough training sessions.

Caprice is said to have complained about Hamish and the duo were assigned a supervisor to watch their rehearsals.

A source told The Sun: 'She [Caprice] was giving it her all but felt like it was never enough. He was relentless, and basically gaslighted her.

'His bullying wore Caprice down. She complained to execs, yet not much was done besides bringing in a supervisor.

'Caprice won't stand for bullying in the workplace, and has been advised she has grounds to go legal. For now, she wants to give her all to the show.'

Despite the allegations, ITV have said they 'found no evidence of bullying' on the show.

ITV told MailOnline: 'We take allegations of bullying very seriously but found no evidence on Dancing On Ice and we strongly refute any suggestion to the contrary.

'We're very proud of the team, both on and off screen. They produce a fantastic show and we are committed to ensuring that everyone who works on the programme is fully supported.'

MailOnline has contacted Caprice's representation for comment.

On last Sunday's show it was revealed Caprice had 'parted ways' with Hamish and she later confirmed she would now be skating with Oscar Peters.

It was claimed that they had refused to work together, with a source then telling The Sun that the model had felt 'she was being pushed too far and bullied' in training.

They added: 'To hear she's being mocked as a diva because she refused to work with him any longer has been really upsetting for Caprice and she's not happy.'

However it was also reported that others involved in the show were worried about Hamish as he had been 'thrown into the spotlight', reported The Sun.

Fans were shocked at the news and it was later revealed head judges Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean were in the dark about the split right up until the show aired.

Appearing on Friday's Loose Women, the Olympic champions, 62 and 61, told the panel: 'You know as much as we do'.

Christopher said: 'We only found out just before the show went to air the other day that they won’t be skating together again and now Caprice has a new partner.'

However on Wednesday Caprice broke her silence and took to Twitter to reveal she is now partnered with Oscar Peters.

When asked on social media if she would reveal who her new partner is, Caprice replied: 'Oscar Peters, he is amazing.'

In another tweet, Caprice seemed positive about her chances of success with Oscar, saying she is 'super excited' to be back on the show this week.

The TV star also added that she and Oscar are 'working hard' in rehearsals for Caprice's comeback performance.
