Disney's Frozen 2 is growing momentum, scoring $18.6M from 26 markets globally through Thursday.
All debuts made it to number one, and the franchise now boasts the biggest animated opening day of all time in Korea, Indonesia, Turkey, the Philippines, Malaysia and the UAE.
France and Germany are also among the key markets that have launched so far on the sequel.

The former set a new Disney Animation record on the first day with $2.6M, and the latter saw the third highest animated opening day of all time at $1.9M.
China's opening day for the film, which was not included in the global figure, earned $11.4M.
The country's performance marks the best Disney Animation/Pixar opening day ever.

Its original release, Frozen, scored the title of highest-grossing animated movie ever, cashing in $400M in North America and $1.28B worldwide in 2013.
