Dancing On Ice couple Caprice Bourret and Hamish Gaman have split up and will not be skating together as the competition continues.
Presenters Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield confirmed that the celebrity contestant and her partner have decided to call it quits and that Caprice would not be taking to the rink this week.
‘Unfortunately, Caprice and Hamish have parted ways and will not be skating this week,’ Holly said.
‘As you saw in our opening number, Hamish remains one of the members of our professional team and we hope to have Caprice back on the ice next week.’
It remains unclear as to why the duo have called it quits and both have yet to publicly acknowledge the news.
Viewers have no idea why Caprice and Hamish have parted ways and took to Twitter to demand answers.
Despite Caprice’s absence, Hamish did perform in the opening group number.

Caprice and Hamish performed for the first time on the series last week.
The couple landed the second-highest on the leaderboard after being awarded a total of 25.5 for their routine to Lewis Capaldi’s Someone You Loved.
Caprice previously admitted she was ‘in it to win it’ on the show as whilst she thinks it would be ‘tough’, she’s feeling positive.
‘Although I’ve pulled a tendon in my foot and my whole body is covered in hundreds of bruises, I have just accepted that I’m going to fall – and now I have the no-fear factor,’ she said.
‘I love it so much that not only do I want to win but I also want to carry on skating. I’m highly competitive, a trait my two boys seem to have inherited from me. I want to win for them.’

This week’s episode is a musical themed special and the contestants and their professional skating partners will take to the ice to perform a routine set to music from a stage production.
Dancing On Ice airs Sundays at 6pm on ITV.
