Mark Gatiss and Steven Moffat's new Dracula adaptation has treated fans to yet another Doctor Who link.
Last night's premiere teased a connection to the Doctor Who universe as a reference was made to the "adorable barmaid" at The Rose and Crown – one of the incarnations of Clara Oswald from the episode 'The Snowman'.

And, much to the surprise of Whovians watching, tonight's episode (January 2) saw The Doctor's ultimate nemesis The Master make an appearance.
Well, the actor who plays him anyway.
Having only just made his debut as the evil Time Lord in last night's series 12 premiere of Doctor Who, actor Sacha Dhawan also popped up in the second Dracula instalment as Dr Sharma.
Instantly recognising him, viewers flocked to Twitter to comment on the Doctor Who link.
"Wait a minute, that is The Master. Now we know where he was hiding before finding The Doctor again," tweeted one fan.
While another wrote: "Now hold on a minute. Now the Master aka @sacha_dhawan is in #Dracula. That's quite a break out 2020 he's having and it's only been 2 days."
Dracula concludes tomorrow (January 3) at 9pm on BBC One.
