Love Island SPOILER: Laura Whitmore stuns the islanders as she delivers the shock news that one couple are at risk of being dumped... but only ONE person will leave the villa

The previous recoupling saw some surprises as the islanders formed their new couples.

However, the Love Island stars are set to be in for a further shock on Sunday's episode as host Laura Whitemore makes an unexpected arrival and delivers some bombshell news.

The islanders are left stunned as the Irish beauty, 34, reveals that the public had been voting and one couple are at risk of being dumped - but only one person will leave the villa.

Sauntering into the South African abode in a sizzling red number, the islanders appear less than plesased to see her as she asks them to gather around the fire pit.

As the islanders wait anxiously for her to spill the beans, Laura then reveals that one couple's time in the villa will soon be up.

She says:  'Islanders, I guess you’re all wondering why I’m here… I’ve got some very important news for you all.

'The public have been voting for their favourite couple. The couple with the fewest votes risk being dumped.'

After a dramatic pause, she adds: 'But… only one of you will leave the villa!'

She then goes on to explain that as the newest arrivals, Luke T and Luke M are safe from the public vote, as are the ladies they are coupled up with - Rebecca and Jess.

Laura's news leaves the islanders reeling as they are seen staring open-mouthed with shock.

However, the dumping news isn't the only thing causing tensions in the villa as Siannise Fudge confronts Rebecca Gormley about stealing her love interest Luke Trotman.

In the tense scenes, the fiery beauty therapist, 25, accuses the model, 21, of breaking girl code after she ditched Connagh Howard - a contestant Siânnise was also fancied - to pair up with footballer Luke, 22.

Having expressed her interest in Luke T earlier in the week, a disappointed Siânnise pulls Rebecca for a chat to discuss her actions around the fire pit.

The Bristol native - who is yet to find love on the ITV2 dating series - candidly says: 'If that was me, I would have made my intentions clear and then no one would have got upset.

'I’m a very girls’ girl, so that was a bit of a shock to me. [It’s happened] twice now. Connagh, obviously I was trying to get to know him.

'I felt you two had a better connection, so I left that alone and let you get on with it. And now obviously Luke T’s come in and I felt like I had a connection with him and it’s happened again… I would have preferred it if you’d been a bit upfront.'

Get Laura's look in a Reformation dress

If it’s not the Love Island ladies who are making us splash the cash, it’s the host Laura Whitmore.

Making her return to the South African villa, Laura wore her best look so far by slipping on this Reformation dress. Bravo to stylists Angie Smith and Emma Lane for bringing this gorgeous look to our attention.

The 'Josefine' dress is designed by the ethical brand from a rich red silk and is cut with a high neck, subtle puff sleeves and wrap skirt.

It’s the ideal evening piece that can be teamed with heels or boots and little else to make a statement. So why not click (right) to shop your size?

Standing by her decision, beauty queen Rebecca replies: 'I know you’re saying girl code, I didn’t go out of my way to hurt anyone. You weren’t coupled up with him and I took him off you, you just had a date with him.'

The outspoken hopeful reiterates her feelings as she adds: 'I completely get that. You can pick whoever you want. I just feel like you dealt with it the wrong way and you should have made your intentions clearer as then I wouldn’t have been upset.'

Rebecca says: 'I know you want to find someone. But we all want to find someone. I’ve got to do what I’ve got to do.'

Less than impressed by their conversation, Siânnise replies: 'I’m going to nip this in the bud now…. You enjoy your time.'

As tension grows between the pair, the Geordie beauty aims to put an end to the drama as she asks her love rival for another chat the following evening.

'I need to have a chat as I can’t stand this tension any longer', a concerned Rebecca admits.

Love Island continues Sunday at 9pm on ITV2.
