John Boyega hits back at social media abuse from Star Wars fans - digitalspy.com

Star Wars, as a film franchise, is meant to teach us the virtues of being good and kind and not giving into our anger, but unfortunately some fans have turned to the dark side and like throwing out negative comments online as if they were lightning bolts from their fingertips.

But Finn actor John Boyega knows just how to deal with those troll commenters, uploading a video of him to his Instagram comprising footage of himself kicking angry fan messages away with his slick dance moves, cutting them in half with a lightsaber, running them over with a segway and exploding them with his Super Saiyan aura.

"Glad I got that out of my system," he wrote in the caption. As fun as the video was to watch, we can imagine he had even more of a laugh editing it.

Boyega has enjoyed ribbing Star Wars and its more 'intense' fans for ages, mocking the Kylo Ren and Rey romance from the sequel trilogy with four images of the pair trying to kill each other.

He also recently called Anakin Skywalker a better Jedi than Rey (which Digital Spy readers agreed with), although we think Rey would definitely win in a fight between the two – with all those flips she does in The Rise of Skywalker she would definitely get the high ground.
