EastEnders has shared a tribute video to Neighbours, which is celebrating its 35th anniversary today (March 18)
Back in February, the Australian soap honoured EastEnders' own 35th anniversary by planting a number of Easter eggs on The Waterhole's menu – and now the BBC show has returned the favour.

Uploaded to EastEnders' official Twitter account today, the caption reads: "Everyone at #EastEnders would like to wish our friends at #Neighbours a very happy 35th birthday. Congratulations to the whole team! Stay safe, and well."
In the 16-second video, Lorraine Stanley (who plays Karen Taylor) says to the camera: "Happy birthday Neighbours from everyone at EastEnders," before singing the show's theme tune.
Neighbours' 35th anniversary episode aired today, and it was packed full of references to classic stars and characters.
Elsewhere, production was suspended on the Aussie soap today due to fears over the coronavirus outbreak. It's expected to resume next Monday (March 23).
Neighbours airs weekdays at 1.45pm and 5.30pm on Channel 5 (UK) and 6.30pm on 10 Peach (Australia).
