Channel 4 has announced that celebrity chef Jamie Oliver is set to present a new cooking show that will help people learn how to make meals while during the coronavirus pandemic.
In the upcoming series, titled Jamie: Keep Cooking and Carry On, Jamie will advise viewers on how to prepare food with simple ingredients so they can eat as best they can while self-isolating or social distancing.
The aim is to encourage viewers to utilise everything they have in their cupboards rather than going out and panic buying – leaving nothing on the shelves for more vulnerable shoppers.

"The show is a direct response to thousands of requests we have been receiving from people who are looking for some inspiration and assurance to help them through this difficult time — and Jamie is a trusted voice to deliver that," Zoe Collins, the Jamie Oliver Group's chief content officer, told Deadline.
She also added that the programme had been developed "in a matter of days".
Jamie: Keep Cooking And Carry On is expected to premiere on Channel 4 on March 23, and run for five consecutive nights.
