The Tindalls have been regular visitors to Australia since professional equestrian Zara was named the inaugural Magic Millions Racing Women Ambassador in 2012, spending January between the Gold Coast and Sydney for the past seven years.

Last month, Zara made the revelation that she would 'think' about moving to Australia with her husband Mike and their two young daughters once she retires from eventing, after falling in love with the laid-back banter and relaxed pace of life Down Under.

Speaking exclusively with Juliet Rieden for The Australian Women's Weekly January issue, on sale now, she referred to the country as the family's 'second home'.

Asked if she would consider relocating to Australia, Zara replied: 'Probably not while I'm still competing. It would be a little bit hard commuting. But after that... yes, I think if an opportunity came up we'd definitely think about it.'

It is not yet known whether Zara and Mike have brought their two daughters, Mia Grace, five, and Lena Elizabeth, one, on the trip with them.

But they have said Australia's laid-back lifestyle is ideal for the active family who love to surf, swim and spend time outdoors, activities often made impossible by Britain's dreary weather.

'Early January is bleak over here [in their home of Gloucestershire in England] so it's nice to be able to go and have a bit of sun. I love the lifestyle of Australia and the ability to get up early, go on the beach - especially for the kids,' Mike told Australian Women's Weekly.
