Shattered by the death of her young son Dennis "Denny" Rickman, EastEnders has released a set of new pictures showing a distraught Sharon Mitchell fighting back the tears.
Yesterday's (February 21) episode confirmed the fate of Dennis following the boat disaster, and a new trailer has already teased Sharon and Ian Beale's confrontation.
But these three photos offer a different look at the aftermath.

Upcoming episodes will see Sharon return to the square after giving birth to her second son, who she welcomed into the world on the same night as Dennis's death following her affair with Keanu.
The grieving new mum is struggling to cope with the loss of poor Dennis while being supported by longtime friend Ian and his mum Kathy Beale.
Riddled with grief, Ian's demeanour threatens to spill over into full confession – he was somewhat responsible for Dennis' situation on the boat, having locked him in the lower-deck prior to the chaos.

Elsewhere, the EastEnders team had to take some heavy precautions during the development of Dennis' death storyline, as boss Jen Sen recently told Digital Spy and others that a codename was used for the character in order to avoid spoilers.
"In scripts and story docs, this character had a code name – Todd – so that if anybody happened to leave their script lying around, the twist would not be unveiled. We don't want the audience to ever have their enjoyment spoiled," he said.
EastEnders continues next Monday (February 24) at 8pm on BBC One.
