Harvey Weinstein said Jennifer Aniston ‘should be killed’ in an unearthed email, following allegations the disgraced Hollywood producer ‘groped’ the Friends actress.
Court documents unsealed by Manhattan Supreme Court have revealed a string of emails between the 67-year-old and his team, ahead of the sentencing for his rape and sexual assault conviction on Wednesday.
According to Variety, his spokesperson forwarded on an email from a reporter at the National Enquirer, asking for comment and clarification over claims he groped the 51-year-old at the 2005 premiere of her film, Derailed.
The publication – who obtained the documents – states he replied on 31 October 2017 with: ‘Jen Aniston should be killed’.
Jennifer’s publicist insisted the groping allegations are untrue, telling the New York Times: ‘He never got close enough to her to touch her.
‘She has never been alone with him.
‘We have no idea about the email, since it wasn’t sent to us, nor do we have any comment to make on it.’

In a chat with Variety from last year, the Morning Show star did accuse him of ‘piggish behaviour’ at the party.
‘I remember I was sitting at the dinner table with Clive [Owen], and our producers and a friend of mine was sitting with me,’ she said.
‘And he literally came to the table and said to my friend: “Get up!” And I was like, “Oh my gosh.” And so my friend got up and moved and Harvey sat down.
‘It was just such a level of gross entitlement and piggish behaviour.’
Weinstein was convicted on two out of five counts of rape and sexual assault last month, after being found guilty of a jury.
The producer could face 29 years behind bars after a jury found him guilty of criminal sexual act in the first degree and rape in the third degree.
He was found not guilty of the most serious charge, predatory sexual assault, which could have resulted in a life sentence.
His lawyers have allegedly asked Judge James Burke to give him a sentence of only five years in prison, suggesting the harsh public backlash should be taken into account.
‘Mr. Weinstein cannot walk outside without being heckled, he has lost his means to earn a living, simply put, his fall from grace has been historic, perhaps unmatched in the age of social media,’ the attorneys are thought to have written.

‘Deserved or not, this is certainly a unique and extremely severe consequence that Mr. Weinstein had to endure, and in the age of social media and given his fame, virtually unrivalled when compared to any other defendant in the state of New York if not nationally.’
Hitting back, prosecutors explained that, based on ‘a lifetime of abuse toward others, sexual and otherwise,’ the judge should impose a sentence that ‘reflects the seriousness of the defendant’s offences’ and punishes him for ‘his total lack of remorse for the harm he has done’.
