The Duchess of Sussex wowed in breathing outfits and dazzling colours on her final royal engagements - wearing £26,400 worth of new clothing for the brief five day visit.

Since joining the royal family Meghan Markle, 38, has become renowned for her love of glamorous designer clothes and expensive jewellery, with the royal rarely seen in the same outfit twice.

Her farewell tour was little different, with the Duchess ticking off some of her go-to designer labels, including Givenchy and Victoria Beckham as well as some of trendy high-street brands, like Topshop.

She also used the opportunity to shine a light on causes close to her heart by choosing to wear jewellery that aligned with her personal interests and held a connection to charities.

Meghan Markle, 38, wore a total of £26,400 of new clothing on her five-day farewell tour, ticking off some of her favourite designer labels including Victoria Beckham and Givenchy (pictured, attending the Endeavour Award's on Thursday night as she arrived back in the UK)

Since joining The Firm in May 2018, Meghan has maintained her A-list celebrity style.

On almost every appearance she was seen wearing high end designers such as Givenchy and Victoria Beckham.

After joining the royal family, the cost of Meghan's clothes for work engagements has been covered by Prince Charles through the budget he gives the couple from the Duchy of Cornwall.

Whether or not they will continue to receive this stipend from Charles remains to be seen.

Look chic like Meghan in a Topshop organza blouse

Following her brief hiatus from public appearances, we were eager to see what the Duchess of Sussex would choose to wear for the series of engagements she has in the UK.

So far she hasn’t disappointed, wowing us with a turquoise Victoria Beckham dress at the Endeavour Fund Awards in London, after wearing this white outfit at the National Theatre.

Teaming an ivory Topshop organza sleeve blouse with a Roland Mouret chevron skirt, Meghan accessorised her look with a black Loewe handbag for a chic monochrome ensemble.

From the looks we've seen so far it seems Meghan is going back to her Suits days tailored aesthetic, featuring sheath dresses, pencil skirts, crisp blouses and killer heels! But we can’t help thinking this black top handle bag is also a nod to the Queen’s signature stalwart.

We were especially pleased to see Meghan repping the Great British high street in this blouse. Unsurprisingly, it’s now sold out, but shop similar styles in the carousel below, then complete your look with her exact skirt, handbag, shoes and necklace!

Since her return to London on Thursday, Meghan has delivered a masterclass on diplomatic dressing - championing eight British labels during her and Harry's last engagements as working royals.

In conjunction with International Women's Day, the duchess has also ensured her wardrobe was dominated by female designers, wearing innovative pieces by Victoria Beckham and Stella McCartney, to name but a few.

Her first day back in the UK proved by-far her most expensive, with the Duchess opting for an ensemble worth £14,174 while attending a lunch at The Goring and visiting the National Theatre.

And later that night she stepped out in a stunning Victoria Beckham gown with a new Stella McCartney handbag.

In one of her last solo engagements as a working royal, Meghan showcased three female designers in one outfit as she spoke with delighted pupils at the Robert Clack Upper School in Dagenham, east London on Friday.

Through her carefully selected outfit choices, Meghan also paid a touching tribute to her late mother-in-law, Princess Diana.

The mother-of-one opted for a caped emerald green dress by Emilia Wickstead and matching hat with a netted fascinator by William Chambers as she attended her last official engagement in London before stepping down from royal duties alongside Prince Harry and returning to Canada.

And, perhaps in a nod to her late mother-in-law, the look closely resembled that worn by Diana when she was pregnant with Prince William in 1982, aged 22, wearing a green coat dress and similarly netted fascinator.
