Phillip Schofield's latest How To Spend It Well series has been pulled from schedules at the last minute.

The new four-part series, How To Spend It Well on Holiday, sees presenter Schofield share his tips and tricks for how to make travel money go further and was due to premiere tonight (March 5) on ITV.

However, following the coronavirus outbreak in countries across the world, the broadcaster made the decision to pull the series from tonight's schedules and instead aired Griff's Great Australian Adventure in the 8.30pm slot.

Digital Spy has reached out to ITV for further comment, and to clarify when the series will now be aired.

The coronavirus outbreak has had a noticeable impact on the film and TV industry, with production on Tom Cruise's Mission: Impossible 7 being suspended last month after Italy confirmed a number of cases of coronavirus in several of its Northern cities.

"Out of an abundance of caution for the safety and well-being of our cast and crew, and efforts of the local Venetian government to halt public gatherings in response to the threat of coronavirus, we are altering the production plan for our three-week shoot in Venice, the scheduled first leg of an extensive production for Mission: Impossible 7," a Paramount studio spokesperson confirmed.

"During this hiatus, we want to be mindful of the concerns of the crew and are allowing them to return home until production starts. We will continue to monitor this situation, and work alongside health and government officials as it evolves."

The latest James Bond film No Time To Die has also been affected by the coronavirus as it was confirmed earlier this week that the film's release date has been pushed back to November.

"After careful consideration and thorough evaluation of the global theatrical marketplace, the release of No Time to Die will be postponed until November 2020," MGM, Universal and James Bond producers Michael G Wilson and Barbara Broccoli said in a statement.

The film will now be released on November 12 in the UK and November 25 in the US.
