Dolly Parton once described her duet partner Kenny Rogers as “like a brother”, but when his funeral comes she will remain silent after making a vow not to sing at the ceremony.
Rogers, whose death at the age of 81 was announced today, passed away “peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of [a] hospice and surrounded by his family,” said a family statement.
