GAVIN & Stacey newbie Laura Aikman has shared a string of behind-the-scenes snaps from filming on the epic Christmas special.
The 34-year-old actress, who played Smithy's hated girlfriend Sonia, posed with her on-screen boyfriend telling followers: "This job made my year."

Despite a torrent of abuse aimed at her mean-spirited character, Laura was delighted with the show, posting: "I had such a laugh and laughed even harder just now watching it for the third time!!!"
She shared a shot of the whole cast, which numbers Nessa star Ruth Jones, Gavin actor Mathew Horne, Stacey actress Joanna Page and Uncle Bryn legend Rob Brydon, sat around in character between scenes.
Also pictured was Gwen actress Melanie Walters, while another snap also showed Pam star Alison Steadman and one-time EastEnders baddie Larry Lamb - who plays Mick - sat around the dinner table with Christmas hats on.
She also posted a picture of her trailer labelled with the character name - plus those belonging to stars James and Mathew.

Other shots showed the cast and crew hard at work, as well as relaxing between scenes, with Mathew shown getting some form of head massage from screen mother-in-law Melanie.
The return of Gavin and Stacey easily won the Christmas Day TV ratings war for BBC One last night, picking up a staggering 11.6million viewers.
It saw Smithy introduce the families to Lauras character, his new girlfriend Sonia, who was so appalled by them that she left Wales and headed back to Essex.
Then, a surprise cliffhanger ending showed Nessa - who shares a son, Neil, with Smithy - getting down on one knee and asking him to marry her.

How the Love Actually cast went from the Christmas film to heartacheLaura revealed today how the crew went to extraordinary lengths to make sure the proposal wouldn't leak before airing on Christmas Day.
She said the special moment had to be hidden from 400 fans who had stayed out into the early hours to catch a glimpse of their favourite stars.
She said: "There were fans waiting down at the bottom of the street, even at about two o’clock in the morning. We were filming really late, and they were all still there.
"I think someone parked a truck across the top of the street while they were filming that bit [the proposal].
"And obviously I had to drive down the road so they couldn’t completely barricade the bottom of the street, but because it’s a hill, you couldn’t see what was going on at the top of it. But that day was the most stressful for them, I think."
