Prince William and Kate, Duchess of Cambridge's has had an eventful 2019. The couple have seen their children grow older and celebrated their youngest child Prince Louis’ first birthday in April this year.
January 2019
Prince William and Kate arrived to officially open V&A Dundee, Scotland's first design museum on January 29 in Dundee.
The couple are known as the Duke and Duchess of Strathearn in Scotland.

February 2019
Prince William and Kate were pictured as they arrived at the EE British Academy Film Awards at the Royal Albert Hall on February 10 in London.
Later in the month, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were captured pulling pints of lager as they visit the Empire Music Hall on February 27 in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
Kate and Prince William concentrate on the young people of Northern Ireland.
Their engagements included a visit to Windsor Park Stadium, home of the Irish Football Association, activities at the Roscor Youth Village in Fermanagh, a party at the Belfast Empire Hall, Cinemagic and finally dropping in on a SureStart early years programme.
March 2019
Kate and Prince William were pictured next to Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle.
They attended the Commonwealth Day service at Westminster Abbey in London on March 11.
Organised by the Royal Commonwealth Society, the Service is the largest annual inter-faith gathering in the UK.
Later in the month, on March 17, Kate and Prince William, who is Colonel of the Irish Guards, posed for a regiment photograph as they attended the 1st Battalion Irish Guards St Patrick's Day Parade at Cavalry Barracks in Hounslow, England.
April 2019
The couple took part in the Easter Sunday service at St George's Chapel on April 21 in Windsor.
May 2019
In May Kate and William kicked off their engagements by unveiling the King's Cup trophy during the launch of the King's Cup Regatta at Cutty Sark, Greenwich on May 7.
The following day Prince William and Kate visited Newborough Beach in North Wales where they met the Menai Bridge Scouts and explored the beach’s wildlife habitat.
On May 20, Kate’s “Back to Nature” garden was revealed.
The Duchess of Cambridge was pictured showing Prince William and Queen Elizabeth II around the garden that she designed along with Andree Davies and Adam White.
The garden was opened during the 2019 RHS Chelsea Flower Show in London on May 20.
June 2020
Prince William and Kate smile at their son Prince Louis as he debuts his royal wave.
The family watched a flypast from the balcony of Buckingham Palace during Trooping The Colour, the Queen's annual birthday parade, on June 8.
The annual ceremony involves more than 1400 guardsmen and cavalry.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were also pictured taking part in sheep shearing with Jack Cartmel at Deepdale Hall Farm, a traditional fell sheep farm during a visit to Cumbria on June 11 in Patterdale, England.
The royal couple are joining a celebration to recognise the contribution of individuals and local organisations in supporting communities and families across Cumbria.
On June 17, King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and King Felipe of Spain were captured waiting as Queen Elizabeth II leaves the Order of the Garter Service.
The Order of the Garter is the senior and oldest British Order of Chivalry, founded by Edward III in 1348.
July 2019
On July 6 the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge attended the private christening of their nephew Archie Harrison, the son of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry.
The couple also attended the Wimbledon tennis tournament later in the month.
Kate and William were pictured in the Royal Box on Centre court during Men's Finals Day.
August 2019
Kate, who was competing on behalf of The Royal Foundation, is presented the Wooden Spoon at the inaugural King’s Cup regatta much to the amusement of Prince William.
September 2019
On September 5, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge were captured brining their only daughter Princess Charlotte to her first day of school at Thomas’s Battersea in London.
Charlotte’s brother Prince George, who is two years older, also attend the school.
A few days later the Duchess of Cambridge attended the 'Back to Nature' Festival at RHS Garden Wisley and was pictured with baking legend Mary Berry.
On September 26, Kate and William look on in front of the autosub, named 'Boaty McBoatface' following a public vote.
The photos was taken during the naming ceremony of the polar research ship the RSS Sir David Attenborough in Birkenhead, England.
October 2019
On October 15, Kate and William arrived by Tuk Tuk as they attended a special reception hosted by the British High Commissioner Thomas Drew, at the Pakistan National Monument, during day two of their royal tour of Pakistan.
The couple took part in multiple engagements during their trip to the Asian nation, and were also pictured visiting the Chiatibo glacier in the Hindu Kush mountain range.
On October 17 they visited the the Badshahi Mosque in Lahore, Pakistan.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge visited Pakistan between October 14 to 18 at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
November 2019
Kate and Prince William attended the annual Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance at the Royal Albert Hall in London on November 9.
Other members of the family at the event included the Queen, Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall.
On November 18 the couple were pictured at the Royal Variety Performance at Palladium Theatre on November 18.
December 2019
Kate and Prince William were captured taking part in an art and craft session with clients during their visit to Evelina London Children's Hospital on December 11.
Evelina London, which is part of Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust, marked its 150th anniversary in 2019.
On Christmas Day the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge brought their two eldest children Prince George and Princess Charlotte to their first Church service at Church of St Mary Magdalene on Sandringham estate.
